Our resources have been developed in-house by developmental psychologists and draw on social-emotional frameworks, including CASEL (Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning), universal character strengths frameworks, including VIA (Values in Action Classification), and other relevant established and cutting-edge academic research. This evidence-based research informs our approach to pedagogy and is embedded in our content. Social and emotional learning, and the development of valuable character traits is at the heart of our music, activities, mindfulness practices, and formal learning materials.

Tiny Souls resources have been designed specially for children aged 2 to 5 years. This is a critical period in child development, providing a window of opportunity for children to learn vital skills and ways of thinking that will help them throughout their lives. Tiny Souls creates fun and engaging content to help children in these formative years learn social and emotional skills, develop positive character traits, and establish a healthy sense of identity and purpose. Our resources are developmentally appropriate for early childhood, and we find that younger and older siblings also find the resources appealing and beneficial. 

Our resources are designed to fit seamlessly into your daily life in a ready-to-use form. We understand the practicalities of family life (we’re parents too!) and we recognise the need for practical tools that can be used on-the-go. We commonly hear from parents who felt inspired by the ideas in a parenting book or parenting course, but then felt stuck when it came to implementing theory into practice. Tiny Souls aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice. We take canonical and pioneering evidence-based research on child development and apply it to designing a vast suite of resources that are ready for parents and educators to use in ways that suit your needs. Whether it’s listening to songs that cultivate a healthy sense of identity and care for others, carrying out a family activity on gentleness or patience with guiding questions, watching animated stories that model social and emotional skills, finding calm with our guided mindfulness practices, or delving into parenting practices through the parents’ toolkit, podcast and videos - we’re there to walk with you on the journey from exploring concepts to applying them in creative and practical ways in daily life. Our vast and growing suite of content is available on a monthly or annual subscription.

Each piece of content takes about 5 minutes or less so that you can incorporate it into a busy day. Our resources and courses are available in bite-sized pieces with the busy caregiver in mind, so you can use them on-the-go or in more extended sessions depending on what works for you. You might listen to a song about the environment on the drive to the grocery store, read a story about flexibility before an afternoon nap, listen to a parent module on the benefits of teaching courage early while cooking dinner, or watch an episode of Zip and the Tiny Sprouts together over the weekend.

Our ever-growing archive is full of hundreds of resources including songs, activities, stories, games, animated episodes, discussion questions, mindfulness practices, and parenting coursework modules. Tiny Souls offers over 16 modules, each centred on a theme, including Honesty, Respect, Friendship, Perseverance, and Patience. Each module provides ready-to-use resources, tools and content for children, families and childcare settings. When you subscribe, you gain instant access to all the content, so you can choose what works best for you. We’re also constantly adding new modules, courses, music, episodes and activities so that we can keep growing together. 

You can access all of our resources, tools and content via both the web and our app. Our app is available on both Apple and Android. Each module also comes with the option for a downloadable guide.

Yes, all of our content offers video, audio and textual  content, catering to different preferences.

Yes, you can download guides, songs, videos and text-based resources in PDF format for all of our resources.

Absolutely. Our library contains content beneficial for caregivers of children under one. Some interactive components may require skills your child may develop later.

Yes, our entire library can still be adapted for older children, and many activities can be made more advanced based on your child’s skill level.

Definitely. Behaviour is communication, and we ask what children might be communicating when they display these behaviours, then try to get to the root of the issue. Our resources address the underlying emotions and beliefs beneath these behaviours, and they teach social and emotional skills to help children understand and articulate their emotions, regulate their feelings, empathise with others, form positive relationships and make ethical and responsible choices. Tiny Souls resources also help children develop concepts and language around their positive character traits including gentleness, respect, patience, kindness, and empathy so that children can build on their strengths as they navigate through challenging periods.
